Home again, home again jiggity jig! What a trip! This truly was an amazing opportunity and I feel so blessed that I had the chance to do it. I am blessed with wonderful children, whom I missed terribly but were more than capable of holding down the fort so there wasn’t a thing for us to worry about (except missing them!). Heck Mary-Kate even kept Boss Communications running with David checking in from the road. I am blessed with a wonderful husband who is game to try any crazy thing I suggest and who is still great company after seven weeks locked together in a confined space – good decision to marry him over 30 years ago! I was also blessed with that “confined space” and have learned that I LOVE RV life … I could continue for another seven weeks easily! But clearly I am also blessed with a well balanced life for while I was so excited in anticipation of this trip and loved every minute of it, I am also very excited about the idea of coming home! I have learned about life on the road. I have had a taste of the freedom of retirement (although it’s years off yet). I have learned so much more about the variety of geography and culture we are blessed with in Canada. I have been blessed to travel across two countries to experience such diversity and fun. But as Dorothy said, “There’s no place like home.”
Welcome home vagabond. Great blog!!!
